This study also to know the implications of the benefits and weaknesses of performance the company’s financial effect on investor or prospective investor in the funds invested in the company. Processing and data analysis in this research is done by using tools of analysis economic value added (EVA) as a parameter. In the assessment EVA method performance is measured with the added value that produced by the company to stake holders. In addition, EVA method in measuring the success of the performance of the company to apply the concept of cost of capital will reflect the risk faced by companies in their investment. Investors, as the external company, always trying to assess the financial capacity and performance of companies in which they are concerned, because this is related to the security of the funds invested in the company by investors and related to the level of benefits that are expected by shareholders. Results of research evaluating the performance of financial analysis using the Economic Value Added (EVA) in PT Surya Citra Media (SCMA) Tbk in connection with the successful achievement of the mission or not the company during the period of years 2004-2008 shows: In the year 2004 (EVA value = Rp 23.01 milliard), year 2005 (EVA value = Rp 30.84 milliard) and year 2006 (EVA value = Rp 18.35 milliard) values company is positive EVA; (EVA > 0) which means that the company had good financial performance during that years. And then in the year 2007 (EVA value = minus Rp 8.41 milliard) the value of the company is a negative EVA; (EVA < 0) means that the company had poor financial performance. For the last in the year 2008 (EVA value = Rp 32.72 milliard) the value is a positive EVA; (EVA > 0) which means that the company had good financial performance.
