The final purpose ofteaching poems is the poem appreciation building. In the activity of poem teaching, students are directly faced to the poems. Through that activity, the student are expected to ve close to the poems and, on turn, the students can comprehend and absorb the education and aesthetic values contained within the poems. In order to reach that purpose, some main aspects need to be concerned namely, the aspect of material choosing, the aspect of material presenting, and the aspect of teaching result evaluation.
