During the economic crisis in Indonesia, the number of poor people became double. As a consequence the poor people had to change their expenditure, especially expenditure for food and aggravate the food consumption. A study exploring the relationship between underweight child and pattern of the household expenditure had been done in a village of Subdistrict Ciomas the regency of Bogor in the year of 2000.
