It is expected that budget participation will have positive and significant impact on job performance of structural officials. However, some studies in the past showed that there was inconsistency in such relationship. This inconsistency may be influenced by some mediating variables which led the author to test the relationship. The results from direct relationship test show that budget participation has positive and significant impact on job performance of structural officials. Meanwhile, the results from the structural equation show that such variables as trust, and organizational commitment are positively and significantly mediating the relationship between budget participation and job performance of structural officials.
