Abstract
The effect of additive compound (casein hydrolysate) and different combinations of growth regulators (2,4-D, BAP, and NAA) used for the culture of Lilium sp. were observed. Shoot and callus were formed from basal flower section cultured in MS medium supplemented with 3 mg/l 2,4-D, 1 mg/l BAP, and 1000 mg/l casein hydrolysate. Casein hydrolysate significantly caused the increase of shoot production. The usage of 3 mg/l NAA and 1 mg/l BAP produced callus from the immature seeds. Whereas the combination of both 2 mg/l NAA and 1 mg/l BAP was significantly different from the 1 mg/l NAA and 1 mg/l BAP in roots production.
