The purpose of this study was to know the fresh tea leaves extract (Camelia sinensis) against the phagocytic activity of the leukocyte cells (in vitro). The sample was leukocyte cells, isolated from blood of healthy persons and were tested its phagocytic activity in line to Wagner protocol. The result show that the percentages of phagocytosis activity were significantly decreased (p<0.05) from 55,46% to 30,91% at 5%, 25%, and 50% concentration.
