Study on prevalence of glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency has been carried out in populations of two malaria endemic regions in Aceh Province. A total number of 138 individuals consisted of 50 great Acehnese (32 male and 18 female) and 89 Middle Acehnese (56 male and 33 female) were involved in the study. Blood of all participants were collected in using fluorescence spot test.
