Isi artikel
Acording to National Socio-economic survey (SUSENAS) 2001, a total of 54% of the Indonesia males were smokers; among them 52% had been smoking more than 30 years; and 49% smoke 11-20 cigarettes per day. It is well known that achieve smoking has a negative impact towards other house hold members (women and children) as passive smokers. In the extended analysis of SUSENAS 2001, it was found that the prevalence of passive smokers was 49% or estimated to be 97,560,002 men and women out of all the population in Indonesia, i.e. 32% among males and 66% among females.
