In this current investigation, a compound of triphenyltin benzoate derivatives, trimesilytin benzoate was prepared tested for antitomour activity against a cervical carcinoma human tumour cell line, HeLa. The compound was synthesized via two steps reaction. Trimesityltin bromide was prepared first, then this halide was reacted with sodium benzoate to obtain the trimelsilytin benzoate.
