Alzheimer's disease prone to be affected the elderly people both in developed and developing countries. In the USA the figure is 10,3% of those over the age of 65 and it is reported that there are 20 million people afflicted to the disease worldwide. As a whole there are 2 to 5% of people over 65 and 20% of those over 85. Although the main symptoms of the disease are mental impairment but actually it has root in brain damage.
