Based on tradition and a few reseach works, Wungu leave (Graftophyllum pictum Grift) was used to treat haemorrhoid, abscess, ulcus and hit related swollen. How the Wungu leave works is not known up till now. To know the analgesic effect of Wungu leave, we made two kinds of extract: crude extract and flavonoid extract. Those extracts were fed to 72 male white rats (Rattus rattus Wister strain) age 2 to 3 months, with weight 150 to 170 gram and then divided into 8 groups of 9 each.
