Study on the epidemiology of filariasis in Sungai Rengit Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency has been conducted in 2006. The objectives of the study were identify the prevalence of microfilaria rate (Mf rate), the vector, prevalence among annimals (zoonosis), Knowledge Attitude and Practice (KAP) of the community filariasis. The number of people examined were 401 people and out of this number 9 people were mf positive.
