Matlab is one of the software languages which assist a wide range of fields in engineering including control analysis and design. In this paper, a CAD tool for multi-objective controller design based on Matlab program is developed together with simple graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for a visualization in specifying design problems. The MIMO linear control design is composed of the convex constraints and performance objective. This design problem is formulated as a finite dimensional convex optimization which can be solved by a practical ellipsoid algorithm. In addition, we include a model reduction in the computation procedure to enhance the computational eficiency. A numerical example is demonstrated on Wood/Berry distillation column. Thesatisfactory results show the capability of the program todesign multi-objective controller
