Isi artikel
We propose an efficient module-base off-line programming for welding robots in shipbuilding. Our strategy is to divide a welding target into some local modules. After that, we generate a robot command program for a typical welding target by combining relative modules. Before developing the module-base off-line programming, all the robot command programs have to be simulated line by line to avoid robot motion errors. But now, it is no need to check all the robot command programs, because the completeness of each module is enough to guarantee the robot command programs. To increase the efficiency of module-base off-line programming, a personal computer based offline programming is also developed. Through the PC off-line programming, we make many kinds of the robot command program in a short time. The module-base off-line programming can be also useful for other robot applications with various shaped working objects.
