The mosquito Aedes aegypti is the primary vector of Dengue haemorrhagic fever throughout the tropical countries. As present, this species is known to be resistant to several insecticides, causing problems in the control of the disease. To gain knowledge on insecticides resistance mechanism may help to solve the problems of insecticide resistance of the vector in the future.
