Isi artikelA cross-coupled generalized predictive control algorithm with reference models on inputs and outputs of the process has been proposed. It is shown that such algorithm provides a combined feedback feedforward control resulting in pole-zero cancelation of poles which do not correspond to the reference model. Hence, the system behaves asymptotically as the reference model provided the canceled poles are stable. In addition, the crosscoupling control action introduced in an optimal way may effectively reduce the synchronization deviations of processes with multiple motion axes. Simulations on an electro-hydraulic process with two motion axes has been carried out and the results show that the proposed control algorithm is robust and gives improved performance.
