A simple and effective algorithm is devised in this paper with the help of small-gain theorem to determine the current polarities of pulsewidth modulation voltage-source inverter (PWM-VSI) drives. To lessen the computational burden, the devised algorithm is iterative and convergent to find the phase angle of the current space vector. Experimental results validating the proposed method are also presented.
