Isi artikel105 years' rainfall data have been used to study the effect or correlation between solar cycle and occurrence of rainfall in Indonesia. For different cycles correlation coefficient and significance correlation coefficient for December, January, February (DJF), March, April, May (MAM), June, July, August (JJA), September, October, November (SON), and monthly have seen obtained. It can be concluded that: (i) Solar cycle area affects quarterly rainfall in Indonesia, where the smaller the area of cycle, te higher its correlation with rainfall, except monthly rainfall, and (ii) Influence of solar activity for long-range rainfall (per cycle) is better tahn the short-range rainfall (monthly). This, besides caused by the sun as the biggest contributor of energy to the eargh also accumulate with other energy including those stored in cloud, as source of rain. All the things require time, and gathered energy during one cycle, yielded enough energy to influence rainfall in Indonesia. This research can be used to study a possibility of physical relation between the solar activity and rainfall (number of sunspot), and variation particle of galactic rays cosmic to the earth.
