The executors of space cooperation between the goverments of the Republic of Indonesia and the Republic of India are LAPAN for Indonesia and ISRO for India. Based on this cooperation, two TTC stations have been built and operated in the island of Biak, Papua (Indonesia). The MoU tells that at the end of its validity, the ownership of the TTC will be transferred from ISRO to LAPAN. As an anticipative effort, this paper identifies some political and legal aspects that should be considered by LAPAN who having the intention to commercially manage the TTC.
