Abstract
When it comes to learn a new language, most people will immediately refer to the language elements such as grammar, ronunciation, vocabulary, etc; or they will emphasize the importance of mastery listening and speaking ability since those two are the skills required at the beginning of the learning process. Brown (1994) states that speaking and listening are the most often used skills in the classrooms. Rivers (1991) also said that the demand of mastery of those two skills much more than they do of reading and writing. These theories underline the importance of listening and speaking instead of two other skills, reading and writing
