Isi artikelThe paper presents the design of sliding mode control for underactuated systems. An underactuated system is one in which number of control inputs is less than the degrees of freedom in the system. Stabilization of the reaction wheel pendulum as an example, using the proposed approach, is illustrated. Simulation results validate the proposed approach.
