| In the ten years following the race and IQ controversies of the early 1970s, psychometrics has been under consistent and widespread attack both within and outside psychology. Yet by the mid-1980s the extent of psychological testing in the USA and elsewhere was again on the increase. In this book we look at the underlying reasons for both of these phenomena and attempt a resolution. |
