Isi artikelWe present a summary of the main phonological, morphological, and to a lasser extent, syntaticfeatures of Bduul Arabic, a hitherto undescribed dialect spoken in Petra, Jordan. We also present a brief dialectological comparison in which we show Bduul to be more similar to the Bedouin Arabic of the Negev (blanc 1970) than to any other dialect in the area.
