Honey was used in ancient time as a traditional remedy for burns and wounds. Nowadays many researchers were done and showed that honey has antibacterial activity, anti-inflammatory activity and stimulating immune responses within a wound. The aim of this article is to describe the process of how can honey be used for wound treatment. The data primarily collected from library research. It is important to know that the overall effect is capable for clearing infection from the wound and improving tissue healing and finally can enhance wound healing.
