Isi artikel
The past few decades have witnessed a notable change in people’s concern for education. More and more emphasis has been put on ‘an individualized- personalized strategy’ than on the widely practised ’group-oriented, teacher-directed, instructional strategy’ (Howes 1970). L,earners have begun to be treated as individuals with different personal traits, needs, as well as learning potentials. Individualization of instruction has thus become a major ’theme’ of school education, and school curricula have been modified or even redesigned accordingly.
