| The main purposes of this research are to (1) provide empirical evident about factors that affect profit sharing rate of deposit at one of Islamic Bank in Indonesia. The examined factors on this research are macroeconomic variables. (2) identify how significance that factors influences the profit sharing rate of deposits at Islamic Bank in Indonesia. The research used 48 months of data for period January 2003 to December 2006. The independent variables for this research are (1) rate of guarantee, (2) Bank Indonesia Wadiah Certificates (SWBI), (3) inflation, (4) foreign exchange rate (USD), and (5) capital market (IHSG BEJ). The dependent variable is profit sharing rate of deposits Bank Muamalat. The statistic method used to test on the research hypothesis is multiple regressions. The result shows that only guarantee rate is the significant variables in determinant profit sharing rate of deposit at Islamic Bank, while the other variables show no significance influence. For further research, it is recommended to examine the internal factors in Islamic Banks that influences their profit sharing rate of deposits. |
