Isi artikel
It is known that postoperative hypertension is common in cardiac patients and untreated hypertensive patients may result in complications. The aim of an automatic drug delivery controller is to quickly reduce the oscillatory change in mean blood pressure due to infusion of SNP. This paper presents a new adaptive PI control of mean blood pressure using vasoactive drugs – sodium nitroprussido (SNP). A new algorithm for estimating variation of the time delay and sensitivity of the system is proposed. Hence, the adaptive tuning of the PI parameters can be easily realized. Simulation results under clinical conditions show that the adaptive control system is effective.
