Translation is not only a transfer of meaning from one language to another, but a transfer of dynamic and culture as well. That is why, a competent translator should be both a good bilingual and a bicultural expert, so he/she is supposed to be capable of solving any translation problem he/she faces. This paper aims to reveal the problems commonly encountered by a translator in doing his/her work. The problems intended are concerned with the aspects of untranslatability, either linguistic or cultural innature.
