Isi artikelHyaluronan is a high-molecular-weight biopolymer and the main component of the extra celular matrix, which its linear structure is created by repeating disaccharide units. A single unit of this polymer is composed of N-acetyl-D-glucosamine and D-glucuronic acid. The aim of this article is to study the role of the hyaluronan and the regulator of inflammation process. The data collected by library research. The result of the study shows that apart from its structural role, hyaluronan can influence cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration, angiogenesis, as well as inflammation and immune cell function.
