In addition to the company having to face greater numbers of competitors, each company is required to win their market and continually launch innovative products and services. The speed of technology is also increasing innovation with the result that the product cycle has changed, becoming much shorter. New innovations which are developed by the company to respond to consumer demands bring about radical and rapid change. The only sure thing is uncertainty.
