Isi artikel
The DDFC Problem Solving Instructional Model is developed to support the objective of science education, which is to help students improve their ability in both creative thinking and critical thinking. Many education practitioners believe that this approach to learning can make students better understand the science problems around them holistically. Educators must also realize that in order for students to recognize the complexity of problems, especially students with cognitive abilities still in development, they need support and necessary tools. It is for this purpose that the DDFC instructional model was developed. The use of this model will help students recognize problems through the model's phases: Defining problems, Designing solutions, Formulating results, and Communicating results. In the end, it is hoped that the understanding of scientific principles are done in a continuous and integrated way.
