This article describes the results of an evaluation study of redial tutoring and it's influences for improving student learning performances in UPBJJ UT Bandung. This tutorial was conducted in 13 out of 17 'kabupaten/kota' on 2001. Teh results showed that tutors, students and local executors have done their jobs well. Besides that, remedial tutoring has been able to enhance student learning performances for six out of seven tutored couses. The results of the study supports Wardani (2001) and Warkiri et al. (1999) findings and research hypothesis that remedial tutoring will influence student learning performances if the important components such as tutors, students and local executors do their jobs properly.
