Problems of population spread imbalance in Indonesia is not less important than problems of high population. Such an imbalance impedes the flow of development in some areas of Indonesia. Efforts to overcome these problems have been made since the beginning of the 20th century by the Dutch colonial. After the independence, population redistribution has still been implemented. In line with such efforts, the govemment also estabilishes growth-centers in some areas as well as facilities of transportation and communication. Such policies affect the volume of migration flow of the population. All provinces have non native population. They are called 'during life' migrans. Although the imbalance spread of population inter-province is decreasing, it is still important to find solutions to overcome tlae problems.
