The objectives of this research are to know the influences of CPO export tax on the income crude palm producers and to identify other problems caused by the export tax viz. e.g. income sharing between farmers and big plantation (owners). The results of this research show that the CPO export tax decreases the real marginal income of crude palm producers. Results of regression analyses also show that the CPO export tax mostly influences the revenue of the big private plantation enterprises. Furthermore, the income sharing between the farmers and the plantation owners is still biased toward the owners.
