Indegenous knowledge is a system of knowledge and skill based on long time experiences owned by traditional communities which were adaptive and sustainable. Unfortunately, in the development process it was rarely considered because it was judged as unscientific and old-fashioned. Therefore, many of it were become extinct. Research was done to describe indegenous knowledge of Kasepuhan community at Kampung Ciptagelar which related to conservation of nature. It was found that Kasepuhan people had been lived scatterred in those area since 500 years ago. They were descendants of refugees from Sundanese-Hindu Pajajaran Kingdom escaped from the invasion of banten army. The community was lead by abah, means father, who lived in Kampung Ciptagelar. The indegenous knowledge observed included forest management and pattern of traditional rice culture.
