| Welfare according to the Oxford Dictionary includes wellbeing, health, benefit, happiness, and interest. Thus, treatment on a juvenile must benefit the child’s wellbeing, health and interest and it should also be fair to the child. Part10 of the Act provides for criminal procedure and has incorporated or amended most if not all provisions of the Juvenile Courts Act 1947. |
