Abstract
Seas are the world’s largest expansion for human mankind, which freely used for navigation, exploitation of their living resources and as a disposal area for waste. Using the seas for navigation is including the transportation for nuclear material. This paper will talk about how to protect marine pollution from nuclear material transportation. As we know that nuclear material is one of hazardous material. Environmental arrangement lived can be done either through international and also is national. Some convention have been made to protect environment from nuclear activity. The 1982 UNCLOS was intended to be comprehensive restatement of almost all aspects of Law of the Sea. Its basic objective is to establish protection of the environment. The Convention on Early Notification of Nuclear Accident, and Convention relating to Civil Liability in The Field of Maritime Carriage of Nuclear Material are some of international regulations which is deal with the protection of environmental from nuclear activities. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) also have the Regulations for The Safe Transport of Radioactive Material.
