Isi artikelModeling uncertainty of a complex structure has became a very important aspect in analysing a design of structure. The aim of this paper is to give a model to the uncertainty on response of structures. Two methods are used: Monte Carlo simulation and probabilistic finite element method. Monte Carlo simulation is employed to analyze the reliability of a simple beam static. On the other hand, probabilistic finite element method is performed to observe the response of static and dynamic structures. The influence of the undeterministic parameters in the design of structures will be analyzed and compared with the deterministic result.
