Isi artikelThis study aims to describe entrepreneurial motivation of women entrepreneurs in Bandung. This study questions how four psychological needs influence women entrepreneurs. A survey has been conducted to answer the research questions. This study has 120 respondents. Findings revealed that young entrepreneurs are strongly motivated by achieving performance and autonomy. It also showed that women entrepreneurs have lower need for affiliation than women employees. These results imply that recognition or appreciation and adequate resources should be available to support women entrepreneurs to fulfill their needs for achievement and exercising their leadership style.
