Although over the last few decades numerous studies have described the POSYANDU's centers of public health serviced in INdonesia, there has been little concern about women's health care, especially with respect to reproductive health. This article offers a descriptive prelimary analysis of some aspects of services for women's health with a POSYANDU may offer. To improve the family planning services and to take continous care of health of pregnant women requires the revamping of the quality of management of the service, backed up with qualified staff and well equipede with various contraceptive methods.
