A system which uses key to open the door of a building manually without considering access right of the person who uses it is not reliable. This paper presents a technique to design and develop door security system by using chip card. The objective is to create a system that consists of hardware and software, which is able to read chip card, decode and compare the code in it with PIN code and move the desired devices. The result shows that the system can be used as door security system when data in chip card and PIN are match.
