Therefore, the library is often visited by the students or even the lecturers who need references and books. The library’s condition at the present time cannot fulfill all the needs of its users because of its limited space. With all those considerations, Unika Atma Jaya has planned to build a new building that some of its floor will be used as a new library. The library will be relocated to the new building, therefore, relayout design is needed as the arranged Master Plan. The experiment has been done to set the best layout alternatives based on the systematic layout planning using ARD dan Corelap methods. The result of the layout planning using Corelap dan ARD methods then was analyzed using simulation system approach. The simulation was done to choose the best layout alternatives based on the performance of each layout. Performance analysis was done by analyzing the transfer time average. The research proved that design with corelap method had better performance because of its smaller transfer time average (0.57) than design based on ARD with its transfer time average (0.68). As the result, the best layout alternative was set as the Unika Atma Jaya library layout design.
