Isi artikelAs a premise, and before taking about the subject of how to receive and welcome people with depresion, I should make a reference to the sick person, to that individual for whom 'the arrival of every disturbance, whether it is benign in its influence or is a direct threat to life, like an acute abdomen or a cancerous illness, naturally provokes reactions that are not only biological in character but also psychological. Illness intterupts and disorganises a person's usual life rythms, places his or her own body and the world in which he or she lives in a state of crisis, and becomes thereby, a sort of 'disorientation of 'identitry', where, however, 'illness is more than a clinica; fact that is medically circumsribable.
