Isi artikel
If we engage in a rapid survey of the fears of contemporary man, one fear stands out in a particular way-the fear of death. This is an instinctive reaction to a reality that can never be seen as a pure biological and neutral fact. Indeed, just as life cannot be identified with the set of physiological conditions that 'keep us on our feet', so death is not recognisable only in the cessation of the physical functions.
