| At present times, marked by a trend towards pluralism of values, cultural tradition and conflict of interests of social groups within human society, the establishment of a multiple and internationally accepted dispute resolution mechanism has become a widely recognized necessity. The development, study, and use of ADR systems has become a priority legal task in our era, and ADR has become a very important part of the multiple dispute resolution mechanism. In China, as well as in other countries all over the world, ADR is now in development. Accordingly, the ADR system, and therewith the entire dispute resolution mechanism, of China are currently subject to a process of reconstruction. The objective of the present paper is, therefore, to analyses and discuss current ADR theory and practice in China. |
