Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma is probably the most lethal cancer, with a median survival of less than 6 months and a 5-year survival rate of less than 5%. The cause of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma is unknown, and this type of cancer resists all currently available treatments.
