The aim of this book is to explain modern genetics and genomics to clinical cardiologists, and it is achieved exceedingly well throughout the 12 clearly written and illustrated chapters. The first chapter provides a brief history of genetics, which quickly leads into a discussion of the Human Genome Project and gene chips.
