Isi artikel
Selected Clinton speeches from the 1992 campaign and his first term were scored for imagery of the achievement, affiliation, and power motives. During the campaign and early in his first term, Clinton scored higher in achievement than power. In studies of other presidents, such a profile is associated with frustration and malaise. As the term progressed, however, Clinton's power motive score increased relative to achievement. These changing profiles suggest some motivational dynamics both of Clinton's early problems and also his later turn around and re - election victory.
