Communication between doctor-patient in the program of sexual consultation requires closeness of relationship. The doctor is demanded to be willing to give attention and empathy to the patient. Positive politeness strategy can be used to develop personal closeness. Based on the result of the data analysis, it is found that there are six positive politeness strategies of communication between doctor-patient in the program of sexual consultation on the radio, namely (1) giving attention and empathy, (2) using a joke, (3) using abbreviations or acronyms, (4) showing optimism, (5) asking for reasons or giving questions, and (6) requesting agreement by means of utterances repetition
