Isi artikel
In the first volume of The Journal of Medicine and Philosophy, Julius Moravcsik (1976, P. 337) observed that Anglo-American philosophy paid relatively little attention to the concepts of health and disease.1 This, Moravcsik argued, was not an accident. Determination of these concepts requires broad reflection and integration of several philosophical disciplines, including the philosophy of science, epistemology, metaphysics and ethics, and philosophical reflection in the Anglo-American countries was too fragmented and piecemeal to provide the needed conditions.
